My name is Christopher McIntyre and I work as a  school counselor for kindergarten, first, and second grade students. I have been working as a school counselor since 2009.. I received my Masters in School Based Counseling from Appalachian State University.

Each school year, I am committed to developing a data-based comprehensive school counseling program that promotes learning for all students. My goal is to meet students' personal, social, career, and academic needs as it relates to the community of students that attend PSRES each school year.

I support students with their personal, social, and academic needs by using the tools of a comprehensive school counseling program, which consists of accountability systems, delivery systems, and management systems. Different parts of these systems include, but are not limited to, individual counseling, small group counseling, whole group classroom lessons, data collection, response services, and system support.
