Dot Day

Posted Date: 09/14/26 (12:30 PM)

Tomorrow, our school will celebrate International Dot Day, inspired by Peter H. Reynolds' book, The Dot. This day is about making our mark, embracing creativity, and showing our school community what we can do.

To celebrate, we invite everything to wear dots.  You can get creative with polka dots, DIY dot shirts, or wearing clothes featuring circles-baseballs, basketballs, soccer balls, and more.

We can't wait to see what you come up with and how you'll "make your mark" tomorrow for Dot Day.
"Book cover of 'The Dot' by Peter H. Reynolds. A small child illustrated in simple black line art stands on the left holding a long paintbrush up toward a large, vibrant watercolor circle in shades of orange, red, and yellow that dominates the center of the cover. The title 'the dot' is written in casual black handwritten lowercase letters across the watercolor circle. The author's name 'PETER H. REYNOLDS' appears in small text in the bottom right corner. A paint can sits on the ground near the child's feet."The Dot. By Peter H. Reynolds.
